Overview
This nationally recognised certification provides comprehensive training in medication administration aligned with Australian healthcare standards. It equips healthcare and support workers with practical skills and theoretical knowledge to ensure client safety and excellence in care.
Upon successful completion, students receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (SoA) for HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication.
Course Delivery and Assessment
The course consists of approximately 16 hours of learning and assessment activities, including: Online learning and assessment. Face-to-face training(practical) and assessment, and few hours of Work placement.
Students will be assessed by two assessment methods: Online Knowledge Questions and Portfolio / In Class Simulation: This includes demonstration of assisting clients with medication and safe handling, documentation, risk management. Work placement is required.

1. Check Your Email
After enrolment, you will receive an email with your login details and instructions to access the student portal.
2. Complete LLND Quiz
You will also receive instructions to complete your LLND quiz. The LLND quiz must be completed before the start of your course
3. Log In to Your Student Portal
Inside your portal, you will find everything you need to get started: Learner Guide, Course Contents, and Knowledge Assessment Workbook.
4. Complete Your Workbook
Your Knowledge Assessment Workbook must be completed and submitted before your practical session. This is critical and musn't be forgotten.
5. Arrive Ready on the Day
Please arrive a few minutes early so your training can start smoothly and on time. Come well rested and ready to learn hands-on skills.

Students must be at least 18 years of age.
USI Requirement
Hold a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier).
Language Requirements
Language, literacy and numeracy assessment tested at ACSF level 3.
